About Streamflow Tools

Streamflow Tools is a working toolkit for Pacific Northwest surface-water hydrology, river forecasting, and groundwater analysis. The applications behind this sign-in support day-to-day hydrologic analysis and are used to explore forecasting methods against real operational data. They are part of streamflows.org, where the full set of tools is described publicly.

The suite includes a data management platform for hydrometric station records, interactive streamflow dashboards, seasonal runoff volume forecasting for the Columbia Basin, snowpack regression and snow-elevation analysis built on SNOTEL and SNODAS, residual-correction forecast models, long-term climate trend exploration, and configuration documentation for Delft-FEWS.

Underlying data is drawn from public sources: USGS National Water Information System, NOAA River Forecast Centers, NRCS SNOTEL, NOAA SNODAS, and the Water Survey of Canada. Analysis follows water-year conventions, running October 1 through September 30.

Accounts are issued individually and this is not a public service, so there is no self-service registration. A single sign-in covers every tool in the suite. If you reached this page from a specific application you will be returned to it once signed in. For questions about access, see the contact details published at streamflows.org.
